The Tale of Two Brothers
(Note: this is a factional account. This author is not sure if this tale ever took place in real life.)
Long long time ago, in the island of Qirat, lived a father with his two sons. To their father’s sorrow and dismay the sons were always quarrelling with one another. Not a day go by, without a fight between the two brothers. No one ever saw them agreeing with one another. If one would say it was day then the other would say it was night. In the beginning, the father thought that they will eventually grow out of this unpleasant phase, but as the years dragged by and the disputes between the sons intensified, the father gave up hope. It was during these times of intense conflict that the father grew sick and eventually passed away.
Many people attended his funeral, as he was known for his kindness and wisdom. People respected him but at the same time, they pitied the poor fellow for having such disagreeable children. As the funeral came to an end, the lawyer assembled all the relatives for the will to be read. It was common knowledge that the father owned quite a bit of land. The will was simple and to the point, the father left the land to his two sons, and advised that it be divided into two equal parts among his children. There was uproar among the relatives. How would two siblings who have never agreed to a single thing divide the land evenly?
As you see dear readers the land was unique in that it has patches of both fertile and barren land. When one brother proposed something the other would disagree and purpose the opposite of it. The disagreement become so great that the people got concerned, everyone was sure that one brother will eventually kill the other. Neighbours gathered together to purpose a solution and when no solution seem to work, they all decided to see the wise man. So they climbed and climbed a great mountain known as Itif. As they reached the top, they were greeted by the wise man. They told the wise man, the tale of the two brothers. To everyone’s amazement the wise man gave them a simple solution.
Now dear readers before I impact the solution to you. I would like you to take minute and reflect. Is there a solution to this dilemma? That can also solve the situation in Israel and Palestine?

The wise man said: ‘let one brother divide the land and the other one be the first to chose between the two’
So you see, dear readers, all it would take is to get a reconized group from Israel. Then a reconized group from Palestine . Forming the groups themselves might pose a problem. In the case of Palestine, best would be to include respresntatives from all the small groups, that would off-course include ’so called terror groups’ (kindly note this author do not define anyone as a terristist until there is proof, thus ambiguous terms such as ‘terror groups’ are not endorsed by this author). It is this author’s opinion that if you don’t include resprestative from all the groups then it would not end the conflict since one party may say that its opinion was never counted. After these two groups are formed, a third party group (NOT AMERICAN GOVERNMENT, which support Isreal) will be needed to oversee the agreement. Third party group should be such that it hold no interests (in order words, it would not gain or lose anything from helping either side) in both Isreal and Palestine.
If readers are interested to look further into what has been done kindly go to Israeli-Palestinian and Arab-Israeli Peace Plans
With this solution, this author take her leave.

She walked on May 2, 2008

She was sitting alone in the middle of the road.
Her eyes were lowered, focused on a glow.
A small light of some sort.
Her only hope in a surrounding covered in thick black fog.
She listened tentatively to deduce any sound.
Momentarily she will look up hoping to see a similar glow somewhere in the dark shadows.
But none came, to her rescue.
She smiled sadly and utter some words of encouragement to her lonely soul.
‘It is okey’
‘Don’t worry’
‘Everything will be fine’
Gathering her courage, she lifted the glow and slowly started to walk.
Where she was going, she had no clue but she kept on walking onward.
A dusty gust of wind came her way, without realizing her glow went away.
Swallowed by complete darkness, her soul withered along with her.
Totally frightened by what will come her way.
She closed her eyes and prayed.
Don’t they say that no prayer goes unheard.
She prayed to the Lord of the universe. Her Creator and the Creator of all creation.
“Ha Allah take me out of this misery.
Take me out of this darkness.
Take me away from all this corruption and deception.
Show me the correct path to follow, the only one that will lead me to you.”(Ameen)
She opened her eyes, a small part of her still afraid that she will only counter darkness.
She smiled so brightly that even the darkness seem to shirk away.
The glow was back and it seem stronger than before.
Lifting herself again, She walked yet again.
This was when she saw him.
Standing still, one could not be sure if he was there or not.
As she walked over, to him. He turned and smiled at her.
Finally, someone who she can see, someone who was not consumed by darkness.
Thinking to herself, now I don’t have to be all alone. I think I can do this.
When she reached him, they started walking together.
She was happy, she felt as if she was walking on clouds.
No longer she felt threaten by the utter darkness nor the silence that surrounded her.
After a short while, the guy turned to her and told her to wait.
Upon saying that, he departed.
That was fine with her, she will wait for him.
She waited and waited.
She did not budge. After all, he have told her that he will come back for her.
So, she waited and waited for his return.
A gust of cold wind came her way, prepared this time, she protected her glow.
When it has past, she found a note lying near the road.
She picked it up and examined it.
A part of her told her not to open it, yet another told her the opposite.
Instantly she knew who wrote the note.
Finally she unfolded the paper and read the brief message.
“Don’t wait for me as I have found another”.
She read the line over and over again.
Till the words sank in the depths of her soul.
She sunk down to the cold icy floor.
She looked blankly ahead into darkness.
This was not true.
This was not true.
But he told her, that he will stay.
Stay by her side forever.
But he was not part of the darkness…how can he still deceive her!
The darkness around her seem to get thicker and thicker.
Her expression slowly changed from being shocked to being angry, gradually followed by depression.
Tears filled her lonely eyes.
Rocking back and forth, she cried.
It was as if everything have shattered yet again for her…everything seems even more dark and dull.
When no more tears were left, she looked up. Maybe if she call his name. He will come back.
So she called and called till her throat was dry and sore.
Footsteps approached her, she got up but it was someone else.
Maybe, she pondered if i walked in the direction he went, I may find him.
So she started walking.
After awhile she found herself in a thick black fog.
She have lost track of where she was going.
Confused, sad and depressed she looked blankly ahead.
She stood, all alone and time stood still with her.
Whispers, they were calling her to join them. Black shadows came out of darkness, approaching her.
Does it matter, does it matter anymore? When the good deceive you too. What is there to live for?
Already two shadowy hands have hold onto her. One clutching her leg and the other resting on her head.
As her soul wither along with the darkness and as she slowly drifted into it. She heard her name being called.
Startled she looked around. It seems as if someone very close to her have said her name.
Looking around for the source, she could not find any.
She smiled sadly, maybe now she has start hallucinating.
As a third shadow came at her. She heard it again. More strongly now.
She looked down and finally realized where it was coming from.
She found her glow, it shone so brightly, warming her body and soul.
She laughed.
She laughed so loudly and brightly that all the shadows shrank away from her.
She collected her glow.
How can I forget my Creator?
If nobody else at least He stays.
He always does.
No matter what, He smiles and He loves.
Dragging herself, more hurt than before.
More wounded in every way, she walked on.
The only difference was her glow, which shone so brightly that it covered her body and soul in a white protective exuberance light.
As she walked on.
Note: Glow = Faith

Never Have I fallen so much in love April 30, 2008

When I first saw you, the time kept running…but my heart was frozen in time…I
couldn’t breathe
Your beauty unmatched…I saw an angel. Of that I’m sure
I hear no breath, no laughter, and no sound
Silence
I hear nothing…except my racing heart beat, and your elegant voice
The love I feel for you is so simple and pure
The love I feel for you has no boundaries
When you feel discouraged my heart feels bitter, so much that it clenches itself into
tears…
But when you smile, my heart cries out of joy…
It has the power to brighten my darkest days, your beauty is your power and your smile is
its sword…
If every word I said could make you smile and laugh, I would talk forever…
This love that I feel for you,
Demands the best of me, makes me better, both in mind and soul
But then again it will never be good enough to fill your requirements…you would be
better off with someone who has the potential to go far in life…give you all the
happiness that you deserve.
All I will bring is misery and regret.
I feel trapped, unable to ever hold you tightly into my arms.
I love you, I love you. Oh how strongly I love you but I don’t want you wasting your
life…not even for a second on someone like me…with such low caliber.
The fact is life is short; love should be spoken loudly,
But the love I feel will never come true…
